I figured I'd make this post real quick. My mom hasn't paid her AOL bill, so we might be getting disconnected real soon [I suspect another day or 2, mebbe]. Meh, I'll leave it here for now. x.x I'm feeling way sleepy, so I can't think of much else at the moment.

o.o I just put on the radio, to keep me awake enough to do the dishes. ::squeals:: They're playing my favorite song!!!! ::points to 'music' to show which one:: ^__________________________^

I just realized a little while ago as I was doing the dishes that if my grandmother was still alive, today would have been her birthday. ::sighs:: Yep, I believe she would have turned 77...? Can't remember exactly, I'll have to ask my mom. O.o I guess even she hadn't given it much thought since she didn't mention it. ::sighs again:: I really miss my grandmother. I think I'll always kinda hold her death against my grandfather, despite the fact that he's dead as well. My grandmother died July of last year, my grandfather died May of this year. Everyone's almost certain he died of a broken heart. Seriously. The day he died, he was perfectly healthy and it was just kinda like his heart stopped. He had been sick in the hospital and all at the time, but the doctor couldn't figure out why his heart just -- stopped.

Still, I blame him for my grandmother's death. At his funeral, I didn't cry, I just looked at him and shook my head disapprovingly. It really was his fault. Once he had stopped working several years ago, that's when my grandmother became sick. My grandfather didn't like hospitals and doctors, so he rarely let her go them. He really fucked up chances of survival. As well, before his retirement, my grandmother was a very social person. She was always out, helping out at her church, throwing little get togethers for friends from church, or visiing friends. When my grandfather stopped working, she basically stopped being as social. She just slowly wasted away. I think I'll always remember the last Thanksgiving before her death. I went to go bring my grandparents some food my mom had made, I hadn't seen them in a couple of months at the time. I was so startled at how my grandmother looked at the time. She was falling apart really badly. ::shudders:: I kept myself from crying while I was there, but once I had gotten home I just broke down in tears. The last time I saw her alive, some 3 months before her death, I did cry while I was there. But I didn't let her see me do it, because I was hugging while she was sitting so my face faced the top of head.

v.v Yeah, no one's interested in my rambling, but I like to get it off my chest from time to time. It helps hurt less. o.o It took me almost 2 hours to get all this out. v.v It was really hard.

All right, I meant to make this entry last Saturday, but I easily got sidetracked. ^^; I tend to get distracted often. ^.^;; Especially by that darn Gaia site. As well, I meant to update meh Myspace but read the above. Actually, that's where I should go make the entry that I want to make. However, since I know my beloved reads this more often, I'm going to post some of it here.

See, after spending the day before Thanksgiving with Beth [which was the best day ever, thus far], I felt really lonely Thanksgiving day. x.x What's worst, I put on the radio and everything they played were love songs. I'll be the first to admit, I'm a sap when it comes to romance. So I spent a good hour on the verge of tears before I heard it. When I was younger, I heard a song that I fell in love with, but I hadn't heard it in years. Then I heard it on Thanksgiving and it actually made me cry! ^^;; Kinda embarrassing to admit, but it's the truth.

I know you're wondering why did it make me cry. Well, firstly, I've always thought it to be a beautiful song. Secondly, and most importantly, my mind immediately thought of Beth. The song basically summed up how I felt about her, and I think that's what made me cry. Hearing it really just made me realize how I felt.
